Thomas Goto was born in Lahalna, Hawaii in 1924 and joined the Army in time to see action in World War II.  After the war, he started school at the University of Hawaii and headed to Oklahoma in 1953 to attend OU and study with Bruce Goff.  After graduation, he remained in Oklahoma and designed several homes in the Metro area, many with fellow OU alumni, John Gray.
