Bio:
Jim Cottingham and Drake Cook were Lawton architects who worked primarily in the 1960s and 1970s. They designed several schools, low-income and elderly housing, and churches in the area, and they also worked on projects at Ft. Sill. Cottingham served on the board of McMahon Auditorium for several years and also taught at Cameron University, while Cook dabbled in developing the downtown area during its Urban Renewal heyday in the 1970s. Cottingham died in 1996.
