Robert S. Kerr and Robinson, OKC
This cluster of buildings in the heart of downtown comprised Kerr-McGee’s headquarters for over two decades until the Kerr-McGee (now SandRidge Tower was completed in the early 1970s). By 2009, the structures had been vacant for years when new owners, SandRidge Energy announced they would be demolished to make way for new development and a park. Although preservation groups protested, the buildings were removed soon after.
