NE 50th and MLK, OKC
Originally, the V-shaped and very Googie awning at NE 50th and MLK protected a Champlin gas station. The station changed hands many times and finally closed in the 1990s. For years, the awning protected an empty building, but that changed in 2011 when a convenience store opened in the space, and the awning was given a new coat of paint in celebration.
