Designed by Dow Gumerson
1963
2935 W. Britton Rd., OKC

This simple, elegant building is composed of MoSai, “a highly durable precast exposed aggregate concrete facing material which has been used on some of the finest buildings in North America,” according to an ad for the building in The Oklahoman.  The ad continues, “the precise quality control, the unique surface treatment and the speed of erecting these MoSai panels were all considered when materials were selected for this beautiful new building.  Approximately 1800 sf of 9 ft. x 12 ft. panels of large white marble pebbles with the face surface ground flat and embedded in a matrix of white cement were used to add to the distinctive charm of this building.”

The panels have aged well over time, and this building remains in excellent original condition today.
