Drive US 66!

Recently, I stumbled upon this very cool Route 66 guide at a local flea market.  As far as I can tell, it was produced sometime in the early to mid 1950s, and it was distributed by various motels, restaurants, and gift shops all long the route.  The guide was produced right here in OKC by the Southwestern Stationery and Bank Supply Company and some lucky tourist picked it up at the Town House Restaurant in Elk City:

Unfortunately, the motel is long gone and has been replaced by a Walgreen’s.  Bummer.

Anyway, the guide is very fun and will certainly make you want to load up the car and hit the Mother Road!  Here it is — enjoy:
